UPDATED: Man Stabbed in Columbia Heights

(Updated at 7:50 a.m.) A man was stabbed in Columbia Heights early this morning, police said.

The stabbing happened on the 3000 block of Sherman Avenue NW about 4:15 a.m. The area is less than a block west of Bruce Monroe Community Park.

The victim was conscious after the attack, according to authorities.

Police haven’t released a suspect description.
