Da Hong Pao Dim Sum Eatery to Open on 14th St. Next Week

A Chinese restaurant with dim sum and fresh seafood is slated to open its doors on 14th Street next week.

Da Hong Pao Restaurant & Bar will arrive at 1409 14th St. NW some time next week, according to an employee with the restaurant.

“Grand opening next week,” reads a sign on the front door of the business. “Serving traditional Cantonese style dishes, fresh seafood and dim sum.”

When the new restaurant opens, it will include a large dining room and bar area alongside four fish tanks near the entrance.

The business has been in the works, off and on, for roughly two years.
