Rain Makes Fireworks a Bust — The view from Meridian Hill Park (pictured above) was less than spectacular last night thanks to the rain and thick clouds. Kanye West Screens New Music Video Throughout D.C. — Prolific rapper Kanye West held screenings of his newly released music video for his single “Famous” at four locations throughout the District Saturday night. Hundreds of people gathered at one of the locations, 10th St. and Vermont Ave. NW, just before 10 p.m. Saturday to see the projected video. [The Hilltop]

Organic Juice Pop-up Leaves U Street — Jinsei Juice, the organic juice shop at 1626 U St. NW, packed up and left last week. “Our pop-up at U St. has come to an end, but GOOD NEWS!
