Our latest Pet of the Week is Dominick, a 10-month-old black cat rescued from a shelter Pocahontas County, W. Va. Here’s a little bit about him from his foster parent, Jodi:
My name is Dominick and I’m about 10 months old. I was rescued from a shelter in Pocahontas County, WV and I arrived in the D.C. metro area just a little while ago, hoping to find my forever family. I am part of the elusive “urban panther” tribe, meaning I’m a black cat. I’ve very soft and silky, or so foster mom tells me. I currently live with an annoying dog who tries to lick me ,and two other cats, and one of them is always licking me too. I’m very chill and I take this all in stride. I love to curl up next to foster mom or just watch the world outside the window. I was in a cage at the shelter since October, so I spent most of my life behind bars and now I’m just enjoying a different view. I’m very sweet and calm, but I do have a playful side and I’m just now discovering the joys of cat toys.
Those interested in adopting Dominick can find more infromation on the City Dogs Rescue adoption page.
