Obama Holds Town Hall at Studio Theatre — President Obama yesterday afternoon held a town hall meeting at the Studio Theatre on 14th Street. During the meeting, Obama took questions from an audience of critics and people affected by recent acts of violence across the U.S. “I ask that you keep all of these families and my families safe,” said the son of Alton Sterling, who was killed police in by Baton Rouge, La., last week. “I ask for your help to unite all of the races of the world.” [Washington Post]
Bub and Pop’s Launching Long-Awaited Supper Club — Chef Johnathan Taub will launch a weekend supper club at the M Street sandwich shop on July 23.
