Man Wanted in H Street Pie Shop Burglary Caught on Video

A man sought in a burglary at a pie shop on the H Street corridor has appeared on surveillance footage, police said.

The crime happened in Dangerously Delicious Pies at 1339 H St. NE about 5:15 a.m. June 23. A burglar forced open a rear door to the store, went inside and stole cash before leaving, according to authorities.

Video police distributed today in connection with burglary shows a man with a baseball cap rummaging around an office and going through a cash register.
