Man Injured in Shooting Near NoMa
Someone shot a man in NoMa earlier this evening just two blocks from where a man was injured in a shooting earlier today, according to D.C. Police.
The shooting happened on the 1200 block of North Capitol St. NW just after 10:30 p.m., authorities said.
The victim of the shooting was conscious when officers arrived on the scene and was taken to a local hospital for treatment, according to police.

This is the second shooting to occur in the area tonight. Someone shot a man roughly two blocks away on the 200 block of New York Ave. NW just after 4:30 p.m. this afternoon.
Police did not provide a lookout for any suspects in either shooting.
