Our latest Pet of the Week is Willie Nelson, a five-year-old hound dog rescued from Rutherford County, N.C. Here’s a little bit about Mr. Nelson from Rural Dogs Rescue:
Willie Nelson is an approximately 5 year old Beagle mix who came into the shelter as a stray. Willie is heart worm positive, but he is being treated in North Carolina. Willie is currently in boarding but we hope to bring him up to D.C. very soon.
Those interested in adopting or fostering Willie Nelson can find more information on the City Dogs Rescue adoption page.
