Park View’s Heat Da Spot Cafe Looks to Serve Alcohol
It may soon be possible to have something a little stronger than coffee at a cafe in Park View.
Heat Da Spot Cafe (3213 Georgia Ave. NW) has applied to add alcohol to the menu, according to a recent filing with D.C.’s Alcoholic Beverage Regulation Administration (ABRA).
The cafe seeks to serve beer and wine alongside its menu of sub sandwiches, personal pizzas and all-day breakfast, according to Heat Da Spot representative DuBois Cox.
Heat Da Spot also hopes to serve alcohol to patrons in its outdoor seating area, he said.
D.C. alcohol regulators are expected to make a decision regarding the application in the coming months.
