Man Shot Near Cardozo

A man was shot on a block that includes the Cardozo Education Campus and the Garfield Terrace public housing complex around midnight, police said.

The shooting happened on the 2300 block of 11th Street NW about 12:15 a.m. today.

The victim, who sustained multiple gunshot wounds, was brought to a local hospital, according to authorities.

Police said they’re looking for a black male who is about 5 feet tall and has a slim build in connection with the crime.
