D.C. for Hillary Debate Watch Party

Hillary Clinton supporters are scheduled to cheer on their candidate during the third annual presidential debate at this Dupont beer hall.

The restaurant next door to Ben’s Chili Bowl will host a debate watch party with food, drinks and discussion.

Locals can visit this H Street bar and arcade for a ’90s cartoon about fairies who live in the rainforest.

U Street’s newest neighborhood bar is set to start serving seasonal cocktails and fried chicken sandwiches when it opens its doors this week.
Meeps Mystical Halloween Party

REI Flagship Store Opening

Outdoor retailer REI has plans to throw a weekend-long block party with free food, performances and activities to celebrate the opening of its new 51,000 square foot flagship store in NoMa.
An Evening of Humorous Readings

Local humorists will read their best work live on stage during this monthly event. This month’s show is hosted by Jon Wolper and will include readings by Garrett Schlichte, Chris Scott, Tara Campbell and Jane Garfinkel.

The drag pageant returns for it 29th year with a theme of “Lights, Camera, Action!” As always, attendees will vote for the Queen of Miss Adams Morgan.
Sunday
Pie Fest

1-4 p.m.
Local bakers will supply the pies during this all-you- can-eat tasting. Attendees can vote for their favorite pies in the following categories: apple, fruit, nuts, chocolate, savory, “piepourri.” All proceeds will be donated to the Jayna Troxel Murray Foundation.
