Man Shot in NoMa Area

A man was shot in the leg near Truxton Circle and NoMa early this morning, police said.

The attack happened on the 1100 block of Sursum Corda Court NW about 4 a.m. today. The area is surrounded by the Sursum Corda low-income housing cooperative between North Capitol and 1st streets NW.

The victim was conscious after the shooting.

Authorities haven’t released any suspect information.
