Men Shot Near Howard University

Two men were shot just west of Howard University’s campus early this morning, police said.

The shooting happened on the 700 block of Fairmont Street NW about 2:45 a.m. today.

The victims received non-life-threatening injuries, with bullets hitting them on or near their hands or feet, according to authorities.

Police haven’t released any suspect information.
