‘Holiday Make-It’ Market for DIY Crafters to Pop Up in NoMa
A holiday market for do-it-yourself gift givers, as well as shoppers looking for ready-made handmade presents, is slated to come to NoMa next month.
The first-ever “Holiday Make-It” market is scheduled to take over the Wunder Garten beer garden (1101 1st St. NE) Dec. 3 to 4 from noon to 6 p.m.
The event from the NoMa Business Improvement District and The Lemon Bowl artists studio will include classes on making terrariums, notebooks and other gifts. The sessions cost between $30 and $50 online.
Visitors to the market also can buy Christmas trees and handcrafted goods from yet-to-be-announced local vendors.
“Join friends and like minded strangers as you learn new skills, make some fun and creative holiday gifts, indulge in some mulled Gluvine, sip a cold refreshing beer and savor treats and snacks,” a Facebook event post says.
