Meditate the Vote – A Talk Hosted by the Jewish Community Center, Washington DC

Adams Morgan

1529 16th St NW

Washington, D.C. 20036

During the contentious electoral season, join the DCJCC and Sister Jenna, host of the American Meditating Radio Show, for an evening of non-partisan community building through meditation. In our national arena the political choices we make have become less about what we are for and more about what we are against. Although many of us have become weary of this negativity, we still find ourselves caught up in it. Is there a way for each of us to play a part in shifting this paradigm from politics of anger and blame to politics of hope and solutions? Sister Jenna will lead us in a conversation that explores the power and vision in all of us to move toward real solutions for our nation and the world.

Sister Jenna is the founder and director of the Meditation Museums (MD/VA) and host of the globally broadcast America Meditating Radio Show. She was selected by Empower a Billion Women 2020 as one of 100 Most Influential Leaders of 2015 and served as a principal partner with the Oprah Winfrey Network and Values Partnerships on the Oprah Winfrey Belief Team, a community of individuals from diverse spiritual, cultural and faith backgrounds. Sister Jenna’s mission is to decode critical current issues and offer a perspective to find clarity, power, and insight. Her voice of influence is particularly needed in the wake of tragedy and increasing violence in our world.
