A man wanted for breaking into a Shaw nightclub and walking off with Ciroc vodka and champagne bottles last month has appeared in surveillance footage, according to authorities.
The burglary happened at Bar 7 (1015 7th St. NW) between 5:45 p.m. and 9:30 a.m. April 29.
Video police distributed yesterday in connection with the crime shows a man appearing to force open the club’s front door before entering. After going through the bar, he left with a bag in his hand.

A man beat up a woman before he robbed her near the U Street corridor over the weekend, police said.
The violent robbery occurred on the 900 block of W Street NW about 2:15 a.m. Sunday.
The woman was standing in the area when the man approached her, without saying anything, according to authorities. He then punched her repeatedly in the face, knocking her to the ground
The man continued to hit her soon after her fall and took her money, iPhone and other belongings before fleeing.
A man with a gun robbed a restaurant on the U Street corridor early this morning, police said.
The armed robbery happened at 1250 U St. NW about 1:15 a.m.
Authorities didn’t identify the eatery in a police report. But a Starbucks and &pizza share the address.
A Starbucks manager told Borderstan that an armed thief didn’t hit the coffee shop today. An &pizza representative couldn’t immediately be reached for comment.

A man who made an after-hours appearance inside a 14th Street pizzeria last week didn’t seem to come for its pies, but rather its cash register, a new surveillance video shows.
Video police distributed today in connection with a burglary at Etto (1541 14th St. NW) features a bearded man with a winter cap removing a cash register from a counter at the restaurant about 4:30 a.m. last Wednesday.
Police today also released surveillance footage in connection with a burglary in Logan Circle earlier this month and a theft on the U Street corridor last month.
Two good Samaritans caught a 17-year-old boy suspected of robbing a woman at knifepoint in Mount Pleasant last night, police said.
The armed robbery happened on 1800 block of Lamont Street NW about 7 p.m. The area is about a block west of Lamont Park at Lamont and Mount Pleasant streets NW.
The victim was in the area when a boy came up to her from behind, according to authorities. The young man then placed his arm around her neck and put a knife to her abdomen.

Darryl Gomillion of Southeast D.C. was arrested and charged last week in burglaries on the 1300 block of Connecticut Avenue NW on Nov. 3 and 9, as well as Dec. 24. He also was charged in an unlawful entry on the 1300 block of 18th Street NW on Jan. 18 and a theft on the 1000 block of 31st Street NW between Jan. 15 and 21.
