Good morning, Borderstanians. Our L.A. holiday continues. Yesterday we went to Union Station, the Walt Disney Concert Hall (a Frank Gerhry building), downtown L.A….and cruised East L.A. Luis, my partner, has nice posting on One Photograph Day about East L.A.

Greetings, Borderstanians. I am on holiday in Los Angeles with my partner… house-and pet-sitting for friends. Yes, the winter weather here is wonderful and yesterday we spent the afternoon at 3rd Street Promenade in Santa Monica. Great place — four blocks of shops, restaurants, movie theaters, etc. Lots of  people–great people watching–and things to see on the street, including some [licensed] street performers. (Can you ever imagine that D.C. would allow street performers?) Thought you might enjoy this photo of a monkey. She was very sweet and her name is Suni (sic). (more…)
