We’ve all witnessed the construction progress at 2400 14th Street NW, and now we have the details. The complex runs from Belmont north to Chapin Street NW.

Capitol View on 14th, a luxury apartment building featuring a total of 255 studios, one-bedroom and two-bedroom rentals, is now leasing to November and December move-ins. According to UDR, the building’s developer, the entire site is scheduled for completion by March 2013. UDR anticipates having the first three floors delivered by year-end, with the likelihood of more.

Capitol View of the 14th is in the process of obtaining LEED certification, and each apartment will come equipped with Energy Star appliances,  thermostats, lighting, and windows, as well as high efficiency water heaters and plumbing fixtures.

The building will also feature a 24-hour concierge, a business center, a fitness center, a conference room, a gaming room, a clubroom, a lobby decorated with local art and rooftop pool.

At this time, the site is working to secure leases for retail spaces on the ground floor; no specifics can be confirmed, according to a UDR spokesperson.

Units at the Jefferson 14W at 14th and W NW and the The District at 14th and S NW are also coming online this fall.
