The Federal Bureau of Investigation/Metropolitan Police Department Violent Crimes Task Force released a wanted poster in connection with Friday’s robbery of the TD Bank branch at 1753 Connecticut Avenue NW (TD Bank Robbery North of Dupont Circle on Connecticut).
The suspect entered the bank at 11:49 am Friday and handed the teller a note demanding money. He fled the scene by hailing a taxi once outside the bank.
The suspect is described as a white male in his late 20s or early 30s, between 5’6″ and 5’10” tall and weighing between 150 and 190 pounds. During the robbery, he was wearing a dark suit and tie, black sunglasses, a dark Washington Nationals hat with a red and white logo, and a latex glove on his left hand.
