We participated in the DC AIDS Walk 2008 this past Saturday… it was a gloriously beautiful Fall day. The starting and ending point was Freedom Plaza at 14th and Pennsylvania NW.

The Walk benefits Whitman-Walker Clinic and people living with HIV/AIDS in the DC Metro area. Donations through the Walk are being accepted through the end of 2008 — you can donate online right here.

Greetings, Borderstanians. The DC AIDS Walk 2008 is next Saturday, October 4, with a kick-off time of 9:15 a.m. at Freedom Plaza at 14th and Pennsylvania NW.  The 5K (3.1 miles) walk/run benefits Whitman-Walker Clinic and people living with HIV/AIDS. Olympic Diving Gold Medalist Greg Louganis is this year’s grand marshall of the walk
