It’s officially spring — and nothing says “spring” quite like enjoying a beer at the ballpark.
This weekend is the inaugural DC Beer Festival at Nationals Stadium (1500 South Capitol Street SE). The two-day event (Saturday, March 23 and Sunday, March 24) will feature craft beer from local and national breweries, live music, games, DJs and some “surprises.”
Featured beers for the event include DC Brau, Starr Hill, Dogfish Head, Flying Dog, Harpoon Brewery, Brooklyn Brewery, Smuttynose and so many more.
Admission is $40 with a choice of two sessions, 1 pm to 4 pm and 6 pm to 9 pm on both days. A ticket includes unlimited beer tastings; food will be sold separately. Tickets are available online. They will not be sold at the door.
