In DC, more than 31,000 victims of domestic violence placed a call for help last year.
To raise awareness and funds to prevent domestic violence, District Karaoke, a social, team-based karaoke league, is partnering with the DC Coalition Against Domestic Violence (DCCADV) to host a karaoke fundraiser to bring awareness towards preventing domestic violence.
The event will be held on Wednesday, December 5, at 7 pm at Policy Restaurant & Lounge at 1904 14th Street NW.
All proceeds will benefit the D.C. Coalition Against Domestic Violence. Individual tickets are $10 when purchased in advance. Tickets can be purchased online, and donations are also accepted.
