A woman was robbed at gunpoint in Bloomingdale last night, said D.C. Police.
The woman was approached by two men on the 100 block of V Street NW last night around 10:37 p.m. said a police spokesperson over the phone this morning. One of the men pointed a handgun at the woman and then stole property from her, the spokesperson said.
The crime remains under investigation.
A man was robbed at gunpoint in LeDroit Park early this morning, say D.C. Police.
Police say two men approached another man on the 300 block of V Street NW around 1:44 a.m this morning and demanded his property. One of the suspects allegedly flashed a black handgun, then the pair robbed the man.
The two were last seen heading westbound on the 300 block of V Street NW, say police.

No arrests have been made in connection with the robbery and the case remains under investigation, say police.
Police are seeking two persons of interest filmed in connection with an armed robbery that occurred near the Cardozo Education Campus less than two weeks ago.
Police say two men robbed another man with a gun near the 1100 block of Florida Avenue NW on Aug. 22 around 2:55 a.m.
A video released today by police appears to show the alleged robbers chasing down a man and holding him at gunpoint. The two men then appear to look through the victim’s pockets before leaving the scene.

Two 15-year-old boys were arrested after allegedly robbing a man at gunpoint near the Cardozo Education Campus late last night, say D.C. Police.
Police say a man was walking near the intersection of 13th and Clifton streets NW around 11:46 p.m. when he was approached by the two teens. One of the teens flashed a handgun and demanded the man’s property. Police say the man refused, ran away and called 911.
Officers stopped and arrested the two teens “within minutes” and recovered a BB gun.
Two thieves robbed a man at gunpoint in Petworth earlier this morning, say D.C. Police.
Police say two robbers held a man at gunpoint and stole his bike near the intersection of 14th and Upshur streets NW around 9:13 a.m. today.

A man was robbed at gunpoint in the 1700 block of 9th Street NW just before 7 pm Monday night, according to a tweet and Crime Alert from the Metropolitan Police Department.
The victim was uninjured, but his iPhone was stolen. The suspect is described as a black male between 17- and 20-years-old, and about 6 feet tall was last seen wearing all black clothing.

Two unrelated gun crimes were reported in Borderstan late Saturday and early Sunday morning, by the Metropolitan Police Department (MPD).
18th and Florida NW Gun Robbery
At about 11:50 pm, a victim was robbed at gunpoint in an alley near 18th Street and Florida Avenue NW by two suspects.
The first suspect, who was armed with a black handgun, is described as a black male about 6’2″ tall with a dark complexion and dreadlocks last seen wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt. The second suspect is described as a black male about 6’2″ tall with a medium complexion last seen wearing a red jacket.
Shooting at 8th and N NW
At about 3:45 am on Sunday, April 21, MPD reported a shooting at 8th and N Streets NW. According to a post from police, an officer patrolling in the area heard the sound of gunshots and found a victim who had been shot in the lower leg. He was taken to the hospital for treatment. The suspect was described as a black male with a red shirt and was seen fleeing the scene on foot.
Attempted Robbery at 14th and W NW
Earlier, on Saturday, police made an arrest in an attempted robbery near 14th and W Streets NW, according to a post. A suspect grabbed the victim around the neck and demanded money. He fled after the victim yelled for police and was apprehended a short time later by plainclothes officers. The suspect was arrested for assault with intent to rob.
