For the month of July, crime in the Borderstan crime area¹ was up from June. The main number was violent crimes, which increased from 4 in June to 8 in July. But, this compares to 16 violent crimes in the area in May, a bad month in Borderstan.
Property crimes held steady, with a slight bump up to 60 in July from 58 in June; there were 59 property crimes in the Bordestsan crime area¹ in May. Combined with violent crime, the total number of crimes in Borderstan in July was 68, up from 62 in June–but still below the 75 total crimes recorded in May.
