Police reports said three men had occupied a red Geo Prism at 2:07 am and were armed with at least one knife; more details on the suspects are below. Westminister is a one-block street between S and T Streets NW.

A juvenile male with a knife approached a woman as she was entering her car around shortly before 4 pm Monday on the 900 block of T Street NW. He demanded her car, but fled after she called the police. The attempted carjacking occurred near the woman’s house, according to DC Police.
Police units were in the area and arrested the suspect nearby on the 1100 block of French Street NW. The woman was not injured and her car was not taken, according to DC Police.

Monday night’s robbery follows a similar incident Sunday night when two men committed a robbery with a knife on the 1600 block of 11th Street NW (11th Street between Q and R Streets).

DC Police reported early Sunday morning, December 16, that two men were stabbed at the intersection of 14th and U Streets NW, at 3:48 am. Both men were conscious after being stabbing, one in the chest and one in the arm.

The busy intersection, right at the western end of the U Street corridor, usually has a large number of people on the street in the area on weekends at this time.
