Signs of fall are all over the city, so celebrate the season with some family-friendly fun at the Kids’ Corner Fall Fair this Saturday, October 20, at Mitchell Park (23rd and S Streets NW).
Here are some activities you can expect at the Fair:
- Pumpkin painting
- Moon bounce
- Toddler hay rides
- Face painting
- Live music and dancing (performers include musician John Henry, the Georgetown University Children’s Theater, Sabra Lewis Hula Dancing and Malcolm X Drummers and Dancers)
A variety of lunch and dessert items from local restaurants will also be available throughout the day.
The Kids’ Corner Fall Fair is free to attend; tickets will be sold for individual activities and food, or attendees can purchase an all-inclusive bracelet for $20. Proceeds from the event benefit the Kids’ Corner Day Care Center’s music education program.
