Fur-Get Me Not Dog Wash at 1722 Florida Avenue NW will host a charity dog wash event this Saturday, September 10. The $20 fee for the standard doggie bath will benefit People. Animals. Love. (PAL). Volunteers from PAL will wash your dog for you! Hours are 9 am to noon.

PAL is a local non-profit with a mission to harness the bond between humans and animals to create social change. PAL has a thriving Pet Visit Program with more than 360 volunteers that visit 30 sites in DC, Maryland, and Virginia. They also have a dynamic animal-based after school and summer program that serves 160 low-income students at Stanton Elementary in Southeast DC.
