(Updated at 10:57 a.m. Monday) A man and a woman were arrested for stabbing a person in the leg during an attempted robbery in Columbia Heights last night, said D.C. Police.

The crime occurred on the 1300 block of Park Road NW around 8:23 p.m, police said.

26-year-old Reginald Loftus and 26-year-old Sashai Ashley White were stopped and arrested following the crime, authorities told us today.

Police charged the alleged robbers with assault with a dangerous weapon and attempted robbery.
