Borderstan is one of those areas in DC where things happen that make the national news (location, location, location) — but not this time. According to numerous local sources (and others, too), including Washington City Paper and Dcist, Paula Broadwell, the alleged mistress of ex-CIA Director General David Petraeus is staying at the home of her brother in the Mount Pleasant neighborhood.

Not surprisingly, local camera crews have staked out the supposed house where Broadwell is staying.

The British newspaper Daily Mail erroneously said yesterday that Paula Broadwell was staying in Petworth (which it said was a DC “suburb”) and that Paula Broadwell was photographed at her brother’s house.

The former director of the Central Intelligence Agency, Petraeus resigned last week after news broke about his affair with Broadwell, co-author of a January 2012 biography of Petraeus, All In: The Education of David Petraeus.

The story on this case has become more convoluted as the days go by and more information keeps on coming out. Maybe she’ll pick a gym or personal trainer in the Borderstan area for regular workouts.
