A lot in NoMa will be transformed into a festive pumpkin patch next week as part of an annual fall celebration.
The NoMa BID is set to kick off this year’s “PumpkinPalooza” event at Storey Park (1005 1st St. NE) next Wednesday, Oct. 26, at 5 p.m.
The event will include food trucks, a bluegrass band, pumpkin carving and a chance to pet some animals, the BID said in a press release. Additionally, the BID will provide pumpkins and carving tools for the first 200 people who show up for the party.
PumpkinPalooza will also have a pet costume contest, a moon bounce, face painting and a class on making terrariums.
