On Saturday, the Deputy Mayor’s Office for Planning and Economic Development (DMPED) will host a public forum at the Howard Theater (620 T St NW) to hear from locals regarding the parcel.
The forum is the first step in the new Request for Proposals (RFP) initiative launched by D.C. Mayor Muriel Bowser in March to loop locals in on decisions regarding future neighborhood development.
“The goal,” reads the press release for the upcoming Parcel 42 forum, “is to establish a process that is transparent to residents and holds the District accountable for building a project that reflects the interests of the community.”
To RSVP for the forum, fill out this online form.
