Course map of road closures for the Rock n’ Roll Marathon.

The Rock ‘n Roll Marathon and Half-Marathon will bring more than 24,000 runners and walkers to the District this Saturday, March 16, which means only one thing — road closures.

Most road closures and detours will be in effect between the hours of 7 am and 2 pm (the race begins at 7:30 am). The full road closures grid and interactive road closures map are both available online‘.

Several roads in the Borderstan area are part of the race course, including:

  • Bryant Street NW, from North Capitol Street NW to 4th Street NW
  • 4th Street NW/5th Street NW, from Bryant Street NW to Harvard Street NW
  • Harvard Street NW, from 5th Street NW to Columbia Road NW
  • Columbia Road NW, from 5 Street NW to Calvert Street NW

Streets will reopen on a rolling basis as soon as the last participant has passed and all course support materials have been removed.
