The National Capital Planning Commission’s Urban Design Initiative will host an open house on Wednesday, November 14 at the District Architecture Center (421 7th Street NW). The open house will allow the public to provide feedback on the first-ever Federal Urban Design Element for the Comprehensive Plan.
Attendees will be able to speak directly with staff and provide comments on proposed policies that guide building form and layout, and those that shape the use of federal facilities and the promotion of more active public space.
The open house will take place between 6:30 and 8:30 pm. Those who are not able to attend the open house will be able to submit feedback online.
