Two men sought in an SUV break-in and theft of clothes in Mount Vernon Triangle this fall have appeared in surveillance footage, according to authorities.
The incident occurred on the 300 block of I Street NW about 5:30 p.m. Oct. 29.
Video police distributed today shows two men on bicycles stopped near a black Jeep Patriot. The men eventually reached into the vehicle through a broken window and appeared to grab a backpack.
It wasn’t clear how the window was damaged.

Two men wanted for making off with three bicycles from a condominium building in Logan Circle have been caught on video, according to authorities.
The theft occurred in Solo Piazza at 1300 13th St. NW about 2:30 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 10.
Video police distributed today shows two men in dark jackets with hoods entering the building and walking around in its garage. They eventually left the building with the three bikes.

A group of masked men with a gun wanted in a robbery at a U Street corridor liquor store this week have appeared on film, according to authorities.
The armed robbery occurred in Benmoll at 1700 U St. NW about 11:15 a.m. Tuesday.
Video police released yesterday shows three men wearing masks, blue gloves and dark clothing with hoods hopping out of a white minivan in front of the shop. The trio then went into the store, and one of them pulled out a gun.
Police are searching for a man filmed grabbing two packages off the front porch of a Columbia Heights home last week, according to authorities.
The theft happened on the 3500 block of 13th Street NW about 2:30 p.m. Friday.
A home surveillance video police released yesterday shows the man walking up to the two packages and putting a coat over them. He then picked them up and left the porch.
It wasn’t immediately clear what was in the packages.

A man sought in the theft of a computer tower during a break-in at a Logan Circle building last week has appeared in surveillance footage, police said.
The burglary occurred on the 1300 block of 15th Street NW between about 4 and 4:45 a.m. last Wednesday, Oct. 19.
Video police distributed today in connection with the crime shows a man with a backpack walking down a hallway in a building and into a room with computer equipment.
The man eventually left the room and exited the building carrying a paper grocery bag with something in it.

A man sought in the theft of an Amazon package from the front stoop of a Shaw house has appeared in surveillance footage, police said.
The crime occurred on the 1700 block of 4th Street NW about noon Oct. 10.
Video police distributed today in connection with the theft shows a man wearing a red bandana and a backpack strolling up to a house. At some point off camera, he took off his bag. The man then walked back into view while putting on his backpack again.
A resident of the house reported losing two children’s bicycle helmets in the theft, according to authorities.

A man talking on his cellphone lost the device and some of his other belongings to thieves with a gun in Columbia Heights early yesterday morning, police said.
The armed robbery occurred on the 1400 block of Columbia Road NW about 4 a.m. Monday.
The victim was walking in the area when three people drove up to him in a black or gray four-door Nissan car, according to authorities. Two of the individuals then hopped out of the car and went up to the victim.
D.C. Police are on the lookout for a group of women who may had the munchies so bad they allegedly stole about $150 in snacks from a 7-Eleven convenience store in Dupont.
A dozen women filed into the 7-Eleven at 1645 Connecticut Ave. NW just before 2 a.m. on Aug. 12, according to a police report. Once inside, some of the women grabbed chips, drinks and other snacks before bolting from the shop without paying. Though one of the store’s cashiers tried to stop them, the women ran away with roughly $150 worth of snacks and drinks, authorities said.
A new police video appears to show the moment the mass theft occurred. In the video, a group of happy, smiling women can be seen walking into the convenience store. Several of the women appear to stare directly into the camera as they walk past; one woman even seems to fix her hair while gazing into the camera. Then, seemingly without warning, the women make a break for it.

A shoplifter with a knife attempted to stab a man who confronted the thief outside a Dupont Circle pharmacy yesterday morning, police said.
The thief hit the Rite Aid at 1815 Connecticut Ave. NW about 10 a.m. Monday.
After taking unidentified items from the store, the shoplifter left the pharmacy, but didn’t get far, according to authorities. A man who witnessed the crime approached the thief on the sidewalk outside of the Rite Aid.
The shoplifter then pulled out a knife and lunged at the man, who dodged the attack. The thief dropped the stolen goods soon after and fled.
Police haven’t released any suspect information.

A man sought in the robbery of an athletic clothing store in Logan Circle this week has appeared in surveillance footage, according to authorities.
The robbery happened at the Lululemon Athletica at 1461 P St. NW just before 6 p.m. Tuesday.
Video police distributed yesterday in connection with the crime shows a man with a white sweatshirt and blue jeans walking around the store. At one point in the footage, the man wrote something on a piece of paper and handed it to a cashier. He then got behind the sales counter, took an iPhone and grabbed a cash drawer before leaving.
A thief with a knife threatened to harm two women on the U Street corridor after they attempted to get back the items the individual and an accomplice took from a pharmacy yesterday morning, police said.
The incident happened in front of the CVS at 1000 U St. NW about 10:15 a.m. Monday.
The thieves just had left the pharmacy when the women approached them, according to authorities. It wasn’t immediately clear whether the women worked at the store. But at least one of women saw the thieves stealing soap, lotion and deodorant from the CVS and asked them to return the items.
“If you call the police on me, I’m coming back here for you,” one of the thieves told the women, while flashing a knife, according to police.
The thieves then fled into the east entrance of the U Street Metro station.
Police haven’t released any descriptions of the suspects.

A man who made an after-hours appearance inside a 14th Street pizzeria last week didn’t seem to come for its pies, but rather its cash register, a new surveillance video shows.
Video police distributed today in connection with a burglary at Etto (1541 14th St. NW) features a bearded man with a winter cap removing a cash register from a counter at the restaurant about 4:30 a.m. last Wednesday.
Police today also released surveillance footage in connection with a burglary in Logan Circle earlier this month and a theft on the U Street corridor last month.
A man suspected of robbing a Shaw convenience store at gunpoint has appeared on surveillance footage.
The armed robbery happened in the Dollar Plus at 1541 7th St. NW on Dec. 12, police said.
Video authorities released today in connection with the crime shows a man with a hat walking on a sidewalk in a residential area.
A thief with a knife robbed a man having a smoke break in Dupont last night, police said.
The robbery happened just outside The Drake apartments at 1355 17th St. NW about 9:30 p.m. The building is about two blocks east of the Dupont Circle park.
The victim was smoking behind The Drake when a man approached him, flashing a knife, according to authorities. The man with the knife then ordered the victim to hand over his money.
The victim told the man he didn’t have any money, police said. The man with the knife then directed the victim to get cash and took the victim’s cell phone as collateral.
Soon after, the victim left and came back with $40, according to authorities. The man with the knife took the money and returned the victim’s phone before fleeing.
Authorities have not released a suspect description.
Police today also distributed two videos in an effort to find individuals wanted in a burglary at Duke’s Grocery in Dupont and a theft from a car in Columbia Heights.
The burglary at Duke’s (1513 17th St. NW) occurred the morning of Oct. 27. The theft happened on the 3400 block of 11th Street NW about 2:15 p.m. on Monday.
In the burglary footage, two men are seen climbing into Duke’s through a window. They then are joined by another man as they wander throughout the restaurant.
The theft video shows a man walking around and standing near a red pickup truck.

Two persons of interest in connection with a theft near U Street NW have been caught on video.
Surveillance video released today by D.C. Police shows two men entering a hallway on the 2200 block of 11th Street NW. One of the men appears to see the security camera when he enters the hallway and attempts to cover his face with his t-shirt. The other man is wearing a backpack and has the bottom half of his face covered.
It’s unclear from the video where the men are, but the block is mostly residential, with a Children’s Health Center about halfway between W Street NW and Florida Avenue NW.
