Paging Harry Jaffe… What is going on with the spike in violent crime in DC lately? Washington Times reports a rough night for the District, with several reported armed robberies taking place right around Dupont Circle.

Several early morning armed robberies, complete with brandished weapons, took place in NW around 4 a.m., with two more in Dupont closer to 6 a.m. WJLA notes one incident took place at 20th and N Streets, with the second robbery occurring moments later on M Street, between 16th and 17th Streets.
