Today’s SYMHM photo was submitted by reader Melissa Green (we should have checked that email account Monday morning, as we usually do). Green told us, “The firemen had it out pretty quickly once they got there — we’re talking within a minute or so. I just happened to wake up and see it out my window (from where I took the picture). I was actually about to call 911 when I heard the sirens.”

The feds have just completed a year-long investigation capped off with a sting operation to shut down…Amish farmers. Raw milk is apparently a really big deal. The Washington Times has the full story on the potential health risks (E. coli) and the (apparent to the conservative paper) discrepancy in this enforcement action compared to other federal issues like immigration.
